Effie's Best Ever Ham Loaf

Effie's Best Ever Ham Loaf (Effie was a lady who helped mother out, sold her eggs and was a great cook. This is another of those perfect things for teenager parties)

Notes: c = cup, t = teaspoon, T = tablespoon

1/2 lb each ground pork, veal, and smoked ham

2 eggs beaten

1 c. dry bread crumbs

1 can mushroom soup

1/4 c. ketchup

1/4 c. water

1 small onion, minced

3 T. chopped green pepper (or red, yellow or orange... didn't have those in the markets in "my" day)

Dash of pepper and salt

Mix well, and pack in loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees 1 hour
