Grandmother Warburton's  Bleu Cheese Salad Dressing

Notes: c = cup, t = teaspoon, T = tablespoon

Heat slightly to melt---just to blend

1 c. blue cheese crumbled

1 c. buttermilk

1/4 c. red wine (it makes a wonderful flavor (but you don't have to)  and the only thing left is the taste of enjoyment......don't worry about  anything else left behind.......there are no side effects left by the wine.....it cooks off .....only a great blend of great grapes..

Add 1 pt mayonnaise after 1st ingredients are blended and off stove (a microwave can be used for this as well, just follow the directions but lessen the time for cooking........)

Mom used to add 1 Tbls of salt, but our tastes are different now so skip this if you want too!.

It is quick and simple and sometimes quickness make our lives great, but we don't have to just use something that comes in a bottle and has a bunch of additives to help it keep.

This is quality, but is quick to make and delicious too!

You only have to make enough for the salad. It will also help your child (ren) see that you can cook and also create new things for them to try. ! They can help, and that makes them feel great and important and that is what is best about being a family. 

I love this along with some other great salad dressings! It truly is quick and can be done faster than your microwave can cook a corn dog and it will taste great!

Introduce your children and/or spouse to something new and one day, perhaps, they will pass it on to others as you have to them...........
