Okay..time to do laundry.

Okay..time to do laundry. So most guys (not all) will lump everything together in one load and put it on warm and add soap (that's me when I do MY laundry). Let's get some things straight. SOME THINGS REALLY DO NEED SEPARATED AND HAVE HOT WATER AND BLEACH! These things would be whites (just a note) most often underwear and socks and anything you really want to look white because it is or at least is supposed to be! :) Hey, I know, guys just want to get laundry done and want to do other stuff. Fair enough, but now you're a dad, laundry is part of life, especially if you are a single dad. If you have girls, it is important to treat the dresses and tights and shirts a bit different than a pair of jeans, shirt, socks and other stuff for you, or your boy.

Woollite is something you will want to get and so is color safe bleach. It will disinfect and keep the color in the outfits. And really do pay attention to the temp of the water. Hey, some of the cloths are not so cheap and if they shrink, well, ya just threw a bunch of money away, know what I mean? I found that OXI clean ( not to endorse anything ) but when you do a load of laundry, a scoop of this stuff in works to help take out the stains. Just my opinion.

On top of ALL of this, remember or at least try, what matches. Girls are different from boys and other kids at school will say things. Boys, most of the time, don't care what they wear, girls will. They want to look good, mostly as I have found, because mommy dresses them and mom's love to match things. If you're a single dad or share custody, TRY to dress her as nice or as practical as the day's weather is as mom does when she has them. This is not only noticed by your child, but by the mother and the other children and the teachers! (p.s. if you need to, use a code on the labels..AA for the shirt and AA for the pants or the dress..It sounds stupid, but you get 40 outfits..well I've been down that road..it's not pretty.

One Dad to another Dad.
