Mickey Mouse Band-Aids have got it covered! Submitted by: Doug Warburton
Being a parent you know you're going to have bumps, bruises, cuts and scratches. Covering it with a band-aid and sealing it with a kiss and a hug always seems to make things better. Smiley360.com and Band-Aid by Johnson & Johnson has sent out a Collector's Series case and asked if we might share it with you. The new case is styled with Disney and one of their most internationally recognized icons, Mickey Mouse. The case which we received is classic aluminum case which Band-Aids used to come in but with a nice new look and touch to it. The exterior is mostly black and red and has Mickey Mouse raised on the front and back. The band-aids inside are different sizes and also feature some other famous icons such as Donald Duck and Minnie Mouse. I really like that the band-aid itself is not like the newer kid printed band-aid where there is little adhesive around the edges and falls off if the wind blows too hard. No, this is true band-aid style where there is full adhesive on both ends with a pad in the middle. Big applaud for doing this. ![]() Looking at the case reminded me of when I was growing up due to it being aluminum, but having Mickey and his friends along for the ride inside is a nice feature that was not in my medicine cabinet growing up. I like the fact that it is something that children will recognize and enjoy. As a matter of fact, when my children saw the band-aids, they decided that they might actually need one because of a bump or boo-boo they received just today. I assured them that in time, they would most likely have the opportunity to check out Mickey on one of their knees or fingers but they would have to wait until it was really needed. I did inform them that they were more than welcome to retrieve another band-aid from the cabinet, but both felt that only the Mickey Mouse ones would work. Children do say the funniest things! I also like the ability to be able to refill and reuse the container. Though it may not be filled with Mickey and his friends all the time, it is something that will not be discarded due to it no longer being useful, wet or maybe torn. I will likely fill the container to accompany my daddykit, which we take on outings. It will have band-aids for a child and adult. Everyone in my house will know to grab our daddykit and find Mickey and his container and that is where they will find a band-aid. Thank you to Johnson & Johnson, Band-Aid and Disney for taking the time to make a little ones, *ouch* a little less painful to deal with. Oh, and of course a large Thank you to Mickey and all your friends for "sticking around" too! Special thanks to www.Smiley360.com for providing me a free sample of the Band Aids. There are no comments yet! You could be the first. |
