Dove Men Care Products

If you're looking for gift ideas for the holidays, fathers' day or even a birthday, the Dove Men + Care would make a perfect gift for any man. I was lucky enough to be asked to try out this product and I can tell you, I am not disappointed.

I received a package in my mail a few weeks ago and was asked to sample the products and review how I felt about them. I was excited about being asked to review a new product and also apprehensive at the same time. I wanted to be fair but was also wondering what to do if I did not like it.

As it turns out, I should not have worried about being apprehensive at all but my children were jealous that I got to try something and they didn't.

The items were sent and the box opened. Upon retrieving the bag from inside, I was already pleased with the overall appearance. The carry bag is visually appealing and is made of stout fabric and trimmed with a leather accent. There is a drain/ventilation hole in the side near the bottom. The toiletry travel bag is made by Samsonite and is a nice added feature. The items inside consisted of 2 bars of soap, a bottle of body wash, one stick of antiperspirant and a dual sided shower tool or what I would call a manly loofah. The scent from all of the products was not heavy with cologne or what some may say "perfumed'. The man loofah is great. It is two sided, one side being a little tougher because let's face it, we're men and we are tougher. It makes fast work of getting the dirt off of the skin.

Weather in Alaska is extreme and can also give extreme skin conditions. The air can pull the moisture from the body and leave ones skin devoid of moisture and become very dry and crack. To be able to have men's products that put moisture back into the skin is nice and my skin can become irritated by some of the products which contain a lot of scented oils. After two solid weeks of using the products, there was less need to apply lotion before going back outside. It would be a nice addition to introduce a lotion that is more masculine than most others on the market today, but the Dove products have helped immensely. As for shaving, I don't use shaving cream. I have always used and prefer to shave with Dove soap because it is gentle to my face and quite frankly, in turn saves me money. I don't need to look at new shaving creams because Dove already has moisturizer in it, so having the opportunity to try the dove Dove Men + Care soap was great. I received the same benefit of the Dove soap and the fragrance is pleasant, mild and just as gentle to my face.

The deodorant stick was made very simple. Instead of a small little knob at the base, the base rotates which is great because my big hands don't care to fidget with those small wheels. Having the entire base to hold onto is quite convenient.

I felt very clean and liked the fact that I knew that I was clean. One of my daughters asked what was the new smell and her older sister told her that daddy was using the new stuff that came from Dove. They both gave me a thumbs up and I in turn feel the same way. Thumbs up to Dove and Men + Skin Care!

Taking time to give yourself a little TLC is always a good idea. Making yourself feel and smell good is a great way put some pep in your step.
